Guidelines
Kindergarten students are promoted at the close of the school year. While discouraged, retention may only occur with consent of parent, teacher, and principal.
Students may be retained only once in a given grade level.
Students shall spend no more than seven years at the elementary level, K-5
Retention is limited to one year in the elementary program, K-5.
